[He takes it, apologizing about how dirty it is. It's slippery with blood.]

[Ken don't apologize for bleeding. It only takes Minato a few seconds to draw forth a persona that can heal him good as news.]

How do you feel?

[Ken gets to his feet, but he's a little bit pale and a little bit shaky. He's lost a lot of blood.] I'll... be okay.

[Minato frowns. He searches in his pockets. He has a little bit of food. A bag of cereal. He puts it into Ken's hands.]

Eat.

[Ken blinks stupidly at the cereal but he'll peel open the bag and eat as told.]

Thank you. I'll be okay, Leader. I promise.

Why were you in the woods alone? [Seriously. Tell him next time.]

I don't... have any big reasons why.

Then rest for now. We can afford a little time so you're stronger on your feet.

I can walk. [He looks around again, and staggers forward. In one corner of a room, hidden behind a busted couch, he finds the spear that he dropped, too. He uses that to support himself upright.] The wolves might come back.

That's why I'm staying. [Minato's not moving. Stay.]

[... Ken will then find the nearest chair and fall into it.] I'm sorry for the trouble.

I'm just relieved I called you. [He sighs, leaning against the wall.]

[He swings his legs, lost in thought for a moment. He just feels bad. He didn't mean to get caught like this.]

I'd be an awful leader if I didn't.

[Come on Ken. Get used to it.]

[Never. He just munches at that cereal while wiping his face with his sleeve.]

I think I just got too close to them.

You shouldn't really go in alone, anyway.

I'm leader. I get to decide who goes where and when they get to go. [Minato that was a really mean way to phrase it.]

[Ken was picking some leaves out of his hair but he freezes at that for a moment, and he just drops his hand into his lap.] ... I'm sorry.

I know who's good at what. So you have to trust my decisions. Can you do that?

[Ken just looks really chastised as he nods quietly.] I can.

I trust you to. Don't let me down, Ken.

I won't, Leader. I'm sorry.

Mistakes happen. It's all right.
